Matcha Cake With Chocolate Mousse

Ahah! another long week has passed and I have a cake to settle for one of my friends! So it was time to put on my thinking cap ( never really had one though T__T ) and come up with some cake ideas!

Didn't want to do any of the boring ones again ... so then the idea of red velvet cake came along! *gotta love the contrast of colours in it :)* and haihz...sadly there weren't any red colouring so then I just opted for a green tea approach :P and hence it was time to visit my two lovely wives to get things rolling!

After sweating a whole evening getting the parts all assembled ... it was finally done!

ooo..wonder whats behind that mould eh....

Alright alright ..after some torching on the sides ( I think I should have just used a spatula instead! LOL! cause I think I melted some of the mousse *sighs* Take a look below.

Sighs...oh well guess I'll just try to cover that mess with some better deco on the top! Luckily managed to get some strawberries from the grocer nearby! And after some fiddling...

Decided to use my trusty old flamethrower!

And after some STRESSFUL PIPING! *sweats* oh and not to mention some simple chocolate deco just for the heck of it :)

But something just wasn't enough :)! . . .

Now I'm satisfied! :)

Gawwwddd! I din know it was more stressful making cakes back home then it is at college! LOL! Well not to mention my desert-like kitchen which melts every single diary product alive just letting it sit on the counter!

All in all..it was certainly a fun day! With tonnes of memories to be kept throughout that day! *winks* Well this last pic just wraps it all up : A sweet and juicy ending to a blissful day :)! It's time to hit the sack!

Cracking that mac?

What could be better than owning a mac? Eating one of course :)!

Finally after countless attempts of breaking that mac! I've finally done it!! Almond macarons of course not that super high tech laptop with glossy covers!

Now would you look at that..orgasm in a bite-size man! What could be prettier than those sandwiches!

Those burgers with pretty "feet"! Ah alas..there is a God after all :)

Hmm..now let's see the process of making them . . .
After a vigorous mixing process and loads of piping, tada!

*cries*..look at all the pretty babies waiting to be sent to the oven!

Aaa...they grow up so fast :)

Mini celebrities!

And after some fiddling...finally removed them and arranged them neatly ready to be frozen for tomorrow when the fun really starts !

After lots of squishing between sinfully good ganache and some strawberry buttercream . . .

. . .

*drools*

And this last one just for you :) *wink*

Ah at last...managed to conquer them little bastards :) ahah! Bon appetit!

Pink macarons with ganache and strawberry buttercream.

A new beginning!

*cough* cough* This whole blog this is still pretty new to me so yea what the heck right! :)

Anyways just as the title says, this marks the beginning of my first post! hohoho!

So lets start out with some sweet treats eh :)! I've been going through my internship now and yea...managed to create some treats lately! Pretty basic stuff but oh well we all start somewhere rite ? Sadly, I do not own a kick-S DSLR so forgive the clarity alright ;) ?

Well don't mind the ugly pot behind there :P guess it loves the camera too yea ;P

Tada! see what some simple piping and a strawberry can do! :)!

Well here's a pic of it posing beside a pink(sort off) macaron! :) who said food wasn't photogenic!
